YAwesome Panel at Open Books West Loop

It’s not just YA. It’s not just awesome. It’s YAwesome! Five young adult authors come together for a blitz style tour with multiple Chicagoland stops. We’re geared up for panels, signings, school visits, and of course – shenanigans!

Panelists:

  1. Michelle Falkoff, author of Playlist for the Dead (Harpercollins Publishers)

Michelle Falkoff’s fiction and reviews have been published in ZYZZYVA, DoubleTake and the Harvard Review, among other places. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and currently serves as Director of Communication and Legal Reasoning at Northwestern University School of Law. PLAYLIST FOR THE DEAD is her first novel.

  1. Lindsay Currie, co-author of SWEET MADNESS (Merit Press/F+W Media, and CREED, Flux/Llewellyn)

Lindsay lives in Chicago, Illinois with one incredibly patient hubby, three amazing kids and a 160 lb lap dog named Sam. She’s fond of tea, chocolate and things that go bump in the night.  An author of young adult and middle grade fiction, Lindsay is published with Flux/Llewellyn, Merit Press and Spencer Hill Contemporary.   1. Rachel Wilson, author of Don’t Touch (HarperTeen)

Rachel M. Wilson studied theater at Northwestern University and received her MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Originally from Alabama, Rachel currently writes, acts, and teaches in Chicago, IL. Don’t Touch is her first novel.

4.   Stefanie Lyons, author of Dating Down (Flux/Llewellyn)

Stefanie Lyonsholds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. When she’s not writing, she’s organizing her locker or crushing on boys. In her head, that is. Because her teen years were great.
