Another year, another November, and another opportunity to dive joyously into the wild world of timed novel writing! Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved. Starting November 1, the challenge is to write a 50,000-word novel -- in just 30 days.
For NaNoWriMo 2008, Open Books is absolutely thrilled to be hosting four write-in sessions plus the megapopular, no-holds-barred, not-to-be-missed 15-HOUR GRAND FINAL WRITEFEST AND COOKIE SWAP
for participating ChiWriMos... complete with free wireless, smushy couches, customizable coffee, an unrivaled air of general camaraderie, and excellent graphic buttons to add to your various blogs, profiles, and other sites to show you were here. What could possibly be better? See you here!
