Open Books is passionate about working with educators, and we’re thrilled to provide opportunities to engage students at all levels.

|One-on-one reading with volunteer mentors. Takes place at schools twice-weekly during the school year. Free.||Creative nonfiction workshops. Takes place at Open Books West Loop on weekday mornings year-round. $10/student.||Reading, writing, and publishing experience. Takes places at schools twice-weekly during the school year for sessions of 8-16 weeks. $50-75/student.||Novel-writing and publishing camp. Takes place at Open Books West Loop on weekdays during the summer. $450/student.||Books to use for in-classroom lending libraries or to give to students. Books can be picked up in Pilsen or delivered (if schedule permits). Free.||Adult-level books to use in nonprofit and social service settings (clinics, shelters, etc.). Books can be picked up in Pilsen or delivered (if schedule permits). Free.|
