What We Do

The Associate Board sponsors a series of awesome events every year to raise money for Open Books' literacy programs. Past successes have included the ReadOn readathon, Literacy Olympics nights at some of the city's finest bars, and a Bookin' It team for the Chicago Half Marathon.

...young professionals from all fields who want to share their time, talents, and connections for the cause of literacy! If the following list sounds like things you can do, we'd love to meet you.

Associate Board Members:

• Spread the word about Open Books to their networks

• Help plan and execute fantastic fundraising events

• Are willing to make a 2-year commitment and comfortable with a $1,000 individual fundraising goal
