Volunteer Resources
Open Books believes volunteers should be learning as much as they are teaching. Whether it's a matter of staying fresh on the latest news in education, finding new tools to use with your developing reader, picking up tips on how to better connect with your young author, or simply linking up with your fellow volunteers, who are (as we always say!) your greatest resources, we are happy to provide this space to encourage ongoing education.

Volunteer Library
Open Books has created a resource library just for you, our beloved volunteers! Check out what we have on hand by viewing our Goodreads shelves. Then, head to the literacy center during business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) to check out a book for up to four weeks.

If you would like to pick your book up at the Open Books store (Mon-Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 12-6pm), email [email protected] to request a hold.
