Statement of Need
Please provide a 1- to 2-paragraph statement expressing your student's need for a full or partial scholarship. Include in the statement an explanation of how your student will benefit from Open Books Publishing Academy. You may include any additional factors which you feel Open Books should be aware of in order to help us make a decision regarding your request. (i.e., any financial difficulties, family expenses, major illnesses, etc.) All shared information will remain confidential. Students 18 and over may write the statement themselves.
In addition to full scholarships, Open Books is able to award some students with a partial scholarship for half tuition. If your student were selected for a half-tuition scholarship, would you be able to afford the remainder of tuition?
