Buzzed Words: The Grown-Up Spelling Bee

Join us for the 4th annual Buzzed Words: The Grown-Up Spelling Bee! This event supports Open Books, a nonprofit literacy organization in Chicago.
The first three rounds of the Grown-Up Spelling Bee are trivia-style. Work with your team (or by yourself) to spell the words on paper. For the fourth round, the top three teams send their best speller to the front for a traditional, out-loud spelling bee, and to bring home glory for their team!
Amazing prize bundles will be raffled off between spelling rounds. Raffle tickets are available to purchase here or in person at the event.
Drinks and pizza will be available for purchase at Midwest Coast Brewing Company and Five Squares Pizza respectively. Doors open at 6pm for this 18+ event and the first round of spelling kicks off at 7pm. Midwest Coast Brewing Company is located at 2137 West Walnut Street.
