Cultural Melancholy with Professor Jermaine Singleton, Ph.D.

On Saturday, February 13th at 5:00pm, Open Books will have Professor Jermaine Singleton, Ph.D. giving a talk at our West Loop location on his book Cultural Melancholy: Readings of Race, Impossible Mourning, and Ritual. Professor Singleton is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Hamline University. He was born and raised in Oak Park and received his Masters of Arts in English from UIC in 1999.
