To supplement our Dolly Parton Imagination Library program, we will continue to provide free books to our enrollees past their graduation.
For years our Book Grants have built libraries in schools and nonprofit centers, supported local literacy events, and provided students with their own books to enjoy with their families. In our continued effort to inspire young readers Open Books is thrilled to announce the launch of our DIY Home Libraries! This new program allows families to self-select high quality engaging books to expand their at home libraries.
HOW IT WORKS:
This new program allows families to self-select high quality engaging books to expand their at home libraries. Every family that signs up will receive credit for 5 free kids books per child each month to be used at the Open Books Pilsen bookstore. Simply fill out the signup form and within the week you will receive email confirmation that your voucher is active with redemption instructions

Got books to donate?
All Book Grants come from inventory generously donated by the public. We accept donations year-round and offer free pickup service, too!
