Pre-readers and their families are the stars of our twice-weekly Storytime at Open Books West Loop! Join us Thursdays and Saturdays at 10am, and keep up with us in the meantime through the Storytime Parents Facebook group.

Looking for a low-pressure way to spark the aspiring author in your 4th-12th grade student? Our after-school Creative Writing Club meets every Wednesday for writing prompts, games, prizes, and more. No advance registration required.

Publishing Academy

Have a budding novelist in the family? Publishing Academy, our signature writing and publication cohort program, runs year-round starting in July.

Donate Books

Have books you no longer need? We'd love to have them! Our always-open dropboxes are located around the city, or you can arrange for us to come pick up your books at a convenient location for you.
