Looking for writing prompts and games? Want to meet other writers? Itching to tell everyone about the fantasy world you’ve created? Just need somewhere to sit and write? The Creative Writing Club is the place for all that and more!
The Creative Writing Club at Open Books is our new weekly program for young writers to sharpen their literary skills. An hour and a half full of creative games, writing time, and feedback from peers awaits you! We’re looking forward to forming a community of young writers who can inspire each other and write the next great American novels (and poetry!).
This is a free, drop-in program, and no pre-registration is required. The club will meet on Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m., beginning January 10, 2018. Open to grades 4-12. We’ll see you there!
